How good is your connection to MCSG?

all I know is I get badddd ping to aus.
Combination of these two things:
- I live in Perth
- My internet is crap.. At the moment my internet is dropping out literally every 5 minutes o.o

So yeah, like I said; bad ping.

I'm pretty sure that what minecraft is telling you is false...

You're probably thinking of minecraft versions with previous ping times. They were false, it said my connection was 500+ ping(ms) in 1.6 and previous versions. 1.7 has true ping times, as most people were astonished to what they were getting.

1600 would not be true, 16 second delay is not something you'd recieve within the same country.

Hmm, I live a bit north of Perth and get around 80 - 100ms usually.

AS: 16 ms
AU :120-160 ms sometimes worse
