I was forced to walk through some sort of haunted house, and I couldn't seem to close my eyes or look away. I could see images underneath my eyelids. At this point in my life, I was traumatized by my friend because he mentioned Bloody Mary... she started chasing me in the dream. I was like 10. Bad times.

You forget 90% within 5 minutes only 1% is left after a couple hours, try it. You wake up after dreaming about 10 dreams. See if you can remember more than 1.

I don't typically have dreams. Maybe every once in a while I will have spontaneous weeks where for the whole week I dream, but it is never nothing sinister or frightening.

I do recall however once a few years ago I went to sleep on the couch in the family room in broad day. Facing the TV. Some time later I "awoke" to find myself in the very same position and time, however I could not move. I tried and tried to move my arms and legs but I could not. I was trapped inside of my sleeping body and could even hear the TV in front of me. I began to panic and eventually I did awake to find myself in that very same position. I told my parents about it immediately and to this day I still remember it. Nothing like that has happened since, however I do wonder how I would react if it would.

I had a really scary dream a month ago, this is what I remember so far:

It started when I woke up from my bed, go eat breakfast and go to school by walking, when I came to school the English lesson started. After 10 minutes there was a knock knock on the door, and when the teacher opened it, a person showed up and shot her in the head. Everyone was screaming and the person who shot here was found out being a terrorist. He said that if anyone is gonna make a single noise he will be shot right away, at that point, there was silence.
We were following him, only knowing that this will get worse, and after 20 minutes of following him like robots and saw were we came, we knew that we were all gonna die.
We came to a place which had several courses, and if people fail at finishing them they are dead, the place looked like a park jackass style, and from that point we were needed to go wherever he goes, the only problem is that the terrorist will frequently be trolling and as of that make some students die if they fall to the trick.
The only course I managed to remember was the last one, which where we could rest for a bit, and the second he entered the door, we were following him. Me and my friend were the only one who didn't follow him, and when he screamed at us telling to come to him, we went inside, went up the stairs but then it was too late, the door outside was closed, everything was dark and soon after arrows were shot at us, the second it happened I woke up with the feeling that I got hit by one.

This isn't even the entire dream, but this is what I remember so far, I never want to come back to this dream ever.

Sleep paralysis?

Anyways, I have a LOT of scary dreams some nights, and others I won't have any. When I was little, I would have the same dream over and over again. It wasn't even that scary, but because I was little, it scared me to pieces. The dream started off where my bedroom had turned into this giant maze and I shrunk down to fit the maze. Then, a giant mouse starts chasing me so I run into a hole in the wall and I am suddenly running off of a balcony I have in my house. I start falling into a dark abyss and that is when I would wake up.

That is was my most common dream, but I haven't had it in years. Now, when I have nightmares they are always about the same three things, but in different settings. I don't really feel the need to discuss those, however. :)

Every dream I have is scary, since I usually don't dream (or I just don't remember them). So it's kind of unusual :/
