Minecraft isn't working- HELP -

My Minecraft won't work. I'll power it up and log in fine. Then the Minecraft screen goes black, and nothing else. I have no clue what's going on and I really want to play some stinking MCSG! I don't have a great PC. My specs are: Windows 7 Extreme/Ultimate, (I dunno), AMD Athlon XP processor, and a 32 bit Operating system. I know it's awful, but I've had worse run it. Is there a possible way to fix it? I have re-downloaded it, cleaned my PC, and everything in between. Please help!

When deleting Minecraft, make sure to delete the java folders and such as well. Delete .Minecraft in (%appdata%). Then re download it and it should work.

I have a question to ask,

When you open MC, click start then click development console. Tell me if you see any errors while starting up there.
