You're implying that hell just use the exact head/body. That'd look horrible. The skins themselves already look poop Jacob can make really good skins...I doubt he'll take the easy way out and just put them together...

Anyone can make a skin. With tools like Novaskin etc. I personally used photoshop, which wasn't to hard to do either, look on the web for tutorials.

It is worth about 1$ for a skin from someone with their own, unique style you can't get anywhere else. Like Sneeze7 or PixelPancake . (Sneeze left though :c)

I repeat... Skinning is a form or art. Would you go to an art gallery and see a really fantastic painting worth 2 thousand and be like "I have a few crayons at home, why not just make it?" Obviously not.

Making a skin is a lot easier and there are so many people that would gladly do it for no charge. You can't compare a MC skin to a Picasso.

It doesn't have to be Picasso... have you not seen the ones that are a few triangles and a dot that go for 2 mill. ? Besides, just mixing the two skins together would be awful looking, someone would have to redo both the face and the dinosaur costume in the same "style" of skinning so it would look good. When I say style of skinning, I mean the individual style of making the skins that is exclusive to one person. PixelPancake For example. He has an insanely creative and unique style which has gotten him alot of attention on Planet Minecraft. People are willing to pay upwards of 7$ for such skins, but he only charges 1$. If you wanted a permanent skin would you want it to be half baked and stolen from other people? I don't think so..
