Servers... Are killing me...

I... I jump down one block, and I take a full heart of damage. Slows me down. I try to climb one block and it pushes me back 3. Fights in the water to take advantage by going under your enemy no longer works. You get thrust toward them when you hit them, and you keep getting tp'd back every time you get hit. Bows and arrows seem to go right through people. a lot have gone right through me, and you sometimes shoot and lose an arrow, but nothing happens. It takes longer for the game to render that you didn't actually get what you thought in the corn chest. Making you want to jump into a fight, no knowing your weapon is not effective... Idk, but it's just... really bad, something needs to be fixed... Don't get me wrong, these servers are the best for these kind of games, but right now, it's a lot less fun...

Its not us. Its Mojang, the 1.3 update and bukkit. We cant do snything to help you until bukkit and the Mojang team fixes the issues we're all having

Make sure your internet connection is superb, or i wouldn't recommend playing on these servers for the meantime. Any internet that is slightly not as good as it could be seems to cause these affects I can say this because the internet in my bedroom isn't as good as in my lounge, and when 1.3 came out i got the same issues as you in my bedroom, so i moved my computer to the lounge to play survival games. However, I still get the weird fall damage thing. I'd recommend optifine if you don't already have it as well (it seemed to make 1.3 gameplay on these servers better when i installed it)

Yeah, my computer, and my connection is good. My computer has the intel i7 3rd gen processor with 24 gb of ram... and my connection runs at 60mbps.... So i don't think it's me.. lol

Try the tutorial on how to ping your computer, you might be suffering from generally bad connection to the servers. IT should be below 100 ms

No its the servers that cant connect to a good service. My connection and computer specs and ping is fine. My ping is 50ms... I'm fine. It's not lag either. It's the servers that can't render what people are doing, because of the 1.3 update.

Lucky you, my country is the last in internet and my connection is 1,5 mbps but i think it's not your connection because i don't lag at all.

really? hmmm.. It's not really lag, its more like climbing up blocks and being pushed back because the server thinks that jump was impossible. Does that happen to you?

Yes, it's have happen a few times, what i do is to break the block that i think is making me stuck.
