So yesterday I was messing around on map 3 waiting for the game to start, when suddenly I couldnt move. I thought I was stuck in a block or something but jumping had the same outcome. I was stuck on a block. I had no idea wtf was going on and I was just about to relog when I saw
. At this point all that was going on inside my head was "wtf wtf wtf". Did the game just start without me? I decided to wait it out and see if I became unstuck when the timer reached zero.
I did. Now, this isn't even the most confusing part of the ordeal, when I pressed tab to see if I was in there, this showed up:
There is ANOTHER Egrodo? Was I so popular that somebody stole my name and put a 72 at the end of it? I checked the records for this "egrodo72" and, as I somewhat expected, "this player does not exist". Keep in mind that I could open chests and what not, but when I killed people it did not give me any points. I brainstormed with a friend about what was going on, and I came to the conclusion that somehow by jumping onto the block or doing whatever I was doing at the time of the game start, I satisfied the servers need to put me on the podium, so it froze me and counted down. When the game saw that a podium was empty, even though the server was full, it freaked out and placed an Egrodo on the podium, but the name "Egrodo" was taken, so it added random numbers to the end of my name. I realize that this is a ridiculous amount of speculation, so I am genuinely curious to see what the plugin maker(s) think about it.
