Thats weird! I get way better fps with OptiFine on 1.7 than 1.6 with optifine

Because you're supposed to. Think about it: 1.6 Version of optifine was older and 1.7 version is newer , so it has more good stuff.

Optifine is awesome
The only reason I got optifine was because I wanted zoom
Without optifine I have 120 fps
On holiday and only on holiday I have 30 fps
