MCSG is a 1.6 server, that just accepts 1.7 clients. That is how you fix it

But 1.6 + 1.7 = Rubber Band. Rubber Band = bad.

Hopefully food won't be an issue. I would much rather have clan wars be focused on pvp rather than food.

It'll be impossible to run if it's in 1.7
If you eat a steak, you have about 30 seconds of sprint time until you start losing hunger. It'll be really hard to run especially when you're being outnumbered

Just saying tech you can break glass blocks on the server that is currently up or was up.

For the food problem, you can just use command blocks to constantly /feed everyone. It would be just too hard with the new saturation.
