It's sad to see that one bad thing someone says can land them a demotion. What I think should cause demotion is the intent in what someone said, and on multiple occasions. There should at least be some forgiveness considering how hard it already is to become a moderator.

I wish there was... I understand how you feel BioGear94. This situation is almost exactly what happened during my demotion back in May. I said something in the Mod skype chat and it was taken the wrong way. Also, apparently months-old posts I made were considered immature. However, I apologized and was told I could reapply again, although I still haven't after 5 months.

The staff doesn't mean to hold grudges: they just don't want any harm to come to the community and aren't willing to take any chances. I respect them for that.
