OptiFine 1.7.2 preview released!

After much waiting, an OptiFine release for Minecraft 1.7.2 is out. While still in preview (crashes may happen, etc), it "seems to work" according to the developer.

I'm not too sure if this release will work with 1.7.4, but given the minor changes, it might (does anyone want to try it?). Even if it doesn't work with 1.7.4, you can still connect to our servers with 1.7.2. Reports state that this release does work with 1.7.4 as well.

Note: MCSG is not responsible for any crashes, etc that may happen while using a third-party mod, such as OptiFine. This was simply posted as the majority of our player base makes use of this mod.

np! I was thinking this also, because I thought it wouldnt work with 1.7.4 then I couldnt use MCRealms because it was 1.7.4..

You'd still be able to use a 1.7.2 client with 1.7.4 servers and vice versa; there's no protocol change between the two, so 1.7.2/1.7.4 are cross compatible.
