Ya Intel Does domin
ate pretty much everything.
But I'm addressing your price range though, If you have the money, I suggest going with what your dad says.

But keep in mind that you're going to either have to stick with Intel integrated graphics for a while, or spend more from the beginning and get a graphics card immediately.

When it comes to price/performance, AMD dominates market for less expensive parts.

So my final recommendation would be, if you can wait for a graphics card, go with intel, otherwise, you won't miss anything when it comes to gaming.

since even if Intel is better in many things, When it comes to just gaming, it's not a bad option by any means to go with AMD. Especially if it's just things like minecraft.

I will let you know though, I bought my parts only intending to play minecraft, now I'm running servers on it.

So when you buy parts future proof yourself, think about what you might do later on, because you might be doing more than just video games, and that is where having intel will come in handy.

Watch these videos to get a good idea of parts

then watch this to prep yourself for the actual build.
Thanks! :)

Ya you should be good on integrated graphics for a while. Thing to keep in mind, The faster your ram is, the better integrated graphics performs.

Ya Crossfire essentially allows you to connect multiple AMD GPUs and get better performance.
Um Erisyuka the AMD FX-8350 doesn't have integrated graphics OR Crossfire... :/
Can't believe I just realized that now. -_- I could have sworn when I was looking at it that it did... So I'd need to get a graphics card either way. I'm going with Intel in that case probably.

Lol I thought it did, wasn't paying attention.
Well either way, if the price difference isn't much and you can sit tight till you get a decent GPU, just go with Intel. I prefer intel anyway. You really only have to go with AMD if you're on a tight budget.

I suggest ordering a PC it takes a while to setup a computer and more time when you don't know how to setup computers.

That's why you learn. I built my first computer in less than an hour. I knew very little about computers when I was first looking into building, but I so many videos online that I knew exactly what to do when I got the parts.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but if you're looking to save an extra $20, there are cheaper, but good cases out there.. That's what I cheaped out on my PC, and the case is just fine. Just a suggestion, but it's a way to save money if you need the extra $20 for another part.

Yes but even when you do build it, it takes a long time to install everything someone who is very skilled with computers can take up to 3 days to install everything and play things.

It takes only 4 hours for my father and I to assemble a PC, and probably not that much more time to install the software needed...

I edited my list to include my final lineup. I have included everything, adding both the monitor and the graphics card to the list. Also, I changed my memory a bit. It's the same price, but it has a lower Cas Latency for better performance. What do you think?
