I finally have decided to write for all of you guys my MCSG Story, how I found it, my first friends, and why I have stayed her for so long. So enjoy the read and hopefully you enjoy my MCSG Story.
It all started in September of 2012, I had decided that CoD and Halo, and in general that Xbox was just getting plain old boring to me, and that I needed to try something new. I went on my old computer and found Minecraft sitting there, I remember that I had an account from waaaaaay back, but couldnt remember the password! I started by using my brothers account, Dark5Shadows. But at the time, what server to play? Why am i playing this? Well, now onto the real part of the MCSG Story xD
It was September 16th, 2012. I was watching CaptainSparklez on Youtube when I saw the last comment on the first page. It read: eu7.mcsg.in. I quickly joined the server and loved it, I couldnt get enough of it! Even though I rarely won games, and when I say rarely I mean it. Well anyways I eventually got bored of it around a week later. But then, I got back into it. But the question is how?
Well 1 week later, September 23th, 2012. I decided to introduce my friend from Xbox, BomBashious to Mcsg. At first we both were not super crazy about it. But eventually we started going crazy over it, pulling all nighters, and we generally forgot about Xbox. Well, now time to tell you guys about the sad and what is going to make me look like a moron part, myself finding the forums.
Well, October 1st - October 8th 2012. I quickly realized how bad my connection was to EU after playing on a few US servers. As I was playing on October 9th 2012. I saw a messgae in the chat. "Don't forget to check out the forums for server lists, donations, and more! I went onto the forums, and there it was. 24 US servers that i had never heard about. I was amazed, quickly bought Iron donor 1 month for MCSG US Servers, and started playing.
This is where I met my first friend other than Bom, Uncrowdedflyer5, even though we didnt play as much together, we were still basically brothers. Well xD, back onto the solo story, I slowly started moving farther and farther away from Bom, but I didnt mind. Well, eventually playing Solo just got really reaaaaally boring, and I decided that i needed to do something, Maybe a clan? :3
At the time, i didnt have wins required, but i tryharded for a looooooooong time, and finally had the wins i need to join! What clan? Well, my first clan was Empire. Empire introduced me to so many things that I cant thank them for enough. First off, Teamspeak, at the time I had teamspeak downloaded, but I barely used it, and Empire is what got me into using Teamspeak, and in which I still use it today. Secondly, general PvP, at the time I wasnt the best at PvP, I was accepted, but i still felt I could make a bigger difference in the clan. This is where I met one of my best friends in Mcsg, I know he might not feel the same, but really at the time he was that one person that I was never afraid to talk to, Fearzon. He generally taught me PvP, and I quickly became better, we generally playing together and had fun..until the Top 5 Players chart came along. At the time we both looked at it and saw that all the players on it would be a great fight, I decided to fight against FatalxModz, and Fearzon waited to see what would happen, and fight the winner. In the end I beat Fatal 2-0 and then had to fight Fearzon, where he beat me 3-2 after we complain like... 5 times over pop-up adds. Well, after that I got pretty inactive... for like 3 weeks. But what did I do when I came back?
Well, It was in February, and I decided that I actually wanted to help out in the community..and well I applied for Mod! Sadly, it took a month to get a reply, but I was denied for lack of detail, which I completely understood. But I didnt stop there, I got a little help comparing Mod apps with duckluv321 and Theoretical. Well, let me tell you that comparing those applications.. really showed me how tough it was to become a Moderator.
May 6th, 2013. I finally made my second Mod application, and sent it in, hopeful that I would get Moderator. Well, I knew it would take time, so I generally just played MCSG! Now, here is the part that will make people rage xD. First game of MCSG after I sent in my moderator application. I see the new Sr. Mod Creepy_Crawler. All I can think of is, "Hey Creepy
Congrats, I remember playing Eu back with you when you were a gold donor!" Thats what i said, I got no reply... just him leaving the server.. I play that game, and decide to go on the forums and check out what is going on. I go to Staff online, click on Creepy_Crawler, and I can see that he is viewing my Mod App! I hover over Dave and Ants names, they're both viewing my Mod app to! I couldnt believe it!
May 7th 2013, I am accepted for Moderator as I come home from school on a Monday, I quickly hop on the teamspeak, recieve my Waiting tag, and there I am sitting in the Waiting room silent with 5 other people. Then comes Creepy_Crawler and Dave, both telling us that Interviews were about to begin, I told them that I had time and that I was going to let the others go first. Well, letting the others go first really made me VERY scared, seeing that ALL 4 of the players were Denied... I was last, all the denied players got off, and I was plain scared. I did my interview, was pulled back after there disscusion, and was told that I was denied.. then a Jk came in, I checked my name, and there it was! 1 iron sword next to my name representing Mod! I was so happy, i couldn't believe it! This was the one day that changed MCSG for me, and I loved it.
Well now what did I do, well let me just say the next few months were veeery boring... and nothing about those few months is very story worthy... Well except in those 2 months I got 400 wins xD. Well then, onto my Resignation.
September 5th, 2013. I was bored of Minecraft at the time, and generally was just tired of Moderating. So I resigned, so many people actually cared that I resigned, but at the time I wasnt really focus on others, I just was focusing on myself. A few days later I joined Forgotten, this clan was fun and all, but eventually just got boring to me due to a vast majority of the members just playing DR, which i was basically excluded from. Well, I looked back at all of those love comments, all of my old friends, and I decided to reapply for Moderator.
September 24th, 2013. Yep, another 1 day response, but this time it was Pending. I was confused, but quickly got over it and decided to just wait... Weeell, one day later, September 25th, 2013. I am accepted for an Interview! That night, I recieve Mod back and am just so happy to be back. Also, the fact that I got 2 pages of Congrats and YES HES BACK! Showed me that I did make a difference to some people of the community. Thank you all.
Now what to do... what to do. Well I just got the news, Mods could join clans now. It all started with #Illuminate, It didnt last long, but i got to meet and get close with some really amazing people that will be tagged later :3. Well, The mods in clans thing.. kinda wasnt the thing for me, and I generally just stayed with Solo played. Until just a few days ago. Christmas Eve. I am accepted for Sector Six, I didn't expect this at all, I was so happy, and I couldnt wait to start playing with all the members. Lastly, My domination, Survival.
Soo yeah, Survival, how about a screenie? k?

BomBashious, Lets just start with you, You will always keep me motivated to do better in MCSG, to try my hardest, and to show people that I am actually not as bad as some people think. Also Im better at Gears :3. K thx <3

JustAHotDog, Omg, like I swear, when we are together I am not afraid to speak what I want, we always say the dumbest things, and no matter how stupid things get, We always laugh. Hope to keep it like that for months to come :3.
Linkdude1997, well I know we dont talk a huge amount anymore... But I mean come on, we are still pretty good friends, right? XD Well anyways, Just remember how much you actually taught me, and how close we got. <3
