So I know that they have the whole voting system to stop 1 map from being super overplayed, but I still only end up playing from a selection of more popular maps (Avaricia, Valleyside, SG4, Chernobyl, Icarus, etc.)
and rarely get to play some awesome, yet unpopular ones. While this idea probably would be difficult to implement, it's just an idea that I thought might help the current situation. Here's my idea of how it might work.
Every time that a map is voted, the server stores it in a database. It then recognizes more overplayed maps and lowers the chance of them being in the voting system every other or maybe every couple games.
What do you think?
NOTE: This is in no way how I think it must work, I would just like a way to play underplayed maps on the servers.
