Mouse help.

I want to get a new mouse during the week and i am not going forking out 70£ for a razor mouse, so my question is will an ordinary mouse with lets say 2 buttons on the side work the same as a gaming mouse as in i can program the buttons to my sword, bow ect. I was looking on a local shops website and i can see a few around the 30£ mark that have these buttons? Thanks.

When I built mine online it was free if I ordered a razer arctosa keyboard so it's pretty good for the price

I heard the steel series mice are the best but this is good for price so I got it also lol this is my 1000th post
