Why you watch SG Videos?

As a YouTuber, I try my best every day to achieve success in the content I produce. Throughout this process, I came about a question I need answered, a question only a community such as MCSG can provide.
Now before I begin, I would like to mention my channel because I'm sure the word "YouTuber" is often used but not taken seriously by someone, without knowledge of this "YouTuber".

So my question is: Why do you watch Survival Games on YouTube?
Now this can be answered in many different ways, so let's specify the question.

+Why do you watch YouTubers that produce the same content despite a no change or improvement in content?
That's mainly referring to channels that only upload Survival Games content.

Side Note: Please leave examples of YouTubers if you answered a question regarding the topic.

+Why watch different YouTubers that produce the same content?
I know the video is mainly dependent on the commentator himself/herself, so do explain.
Whether it be skill, good commentating, quality content, or just good looks.

+What gets you involved in these upcoming channels that produce SG content?
Their personal connection with the audience, stories, collaborations?

This question refers to the point when you decide to become an active subscriber of that person.
Personally, I started my channel on Mod Reviews, something which is new each and every episode, because no mod is ever showcased twice. I gained a audience that way, but then started uploading commentary. Such as Survival Games. Survival Games being my side series, I offered a refreshment to my channel, and a break from Mod Spotlights. But for a up-and-coming channel that only uploads Survival Games, and plays on the same server/maps/routes each game, how do you keep yourself from being bored?

You may be thinking, "Well you don't understand, it's about the commentary".
That may be the case, but watching the same game type over and over with different commentary each time is much like a podcast. Sure the commentary is good but the content is repetitive in form.

I used to watch SG vids because I wanted to watch people with skill and learn a few tricks/routes. Nowadays I watch them because I'm bored and usually I'm entertained by people who play MCSG

I usually watch a video or 2 while i take a short break to eat/drink. If i choose to watch mcsg videos it's usually from another skilled player. I basically use the video to analyze their playstyle and learn about their weaknesses and strengths. Knowledge about your opponents helps a lot

edit: Back when i was new to mcsg i used to watch route videos and minecraft pvp strats (i was a total minecraft pvp newb when i first started)

I watch ThatOneTomahawk 's videos because I like listening to the awesome stories he tells while casually taking out a team of like 4 people. His stories are amazing xD That is all.

Tomahawk plays with a face cam, and a few of his videos were with shaders and gameplay is always great.

I used to watch nate252 's videos for all his tips and to learn how to PvP well.

I sometimes watch JoeyGraceffa because he's hot and has a face-cam. But his content is... eh.

And then I watch random's videos because I like their voices :3

I don't honestly watch many anymore, the only youtubers that play MCSG that I still watch don't post much. I watch people mainly for the personality, that's why I don't like videos with just music. Most of the YouTube I watch now is PTCGO.

I second this, I watch videos for entertainment value, and if a commentator is boring, then I don't have a purpose for watching the video. ESPECIALLY if they upload the same content from the same game.

And personally, no MCSG commentators catch me in terms of entertainment. Yet.

I watch them for a couple reasons.... Mainly for PVP tips but I just like watching people play to see how different people do ;3 Although, the commentary has to be good otherwise it does get a little boring...
