Enderpearl and Team Discussion

This honestly won't stop anything, but this is my rant about enderpearl a being on the sponsor list.

I spend so much time chasing down a guy just for him to get sponsored an enderpearl by his teammate and teleport away. In my opinion, the sponsor list itself is pretty unfair.

Yes, I know what people are going to say in the comments : "get a team of your own" "become famous" " suck it up" "get better at pvp" . Nice advice guys.

I'm also REALLY sick of teams being more than three people. A three man team is bad enough, but an 8 man team is too much. You're basically forcing yourself the ability to win the game.

This will be a pretty hard task, but MCSG should add a few lobby's for only solo games or only teams of 2 games or something.

If someone sees somebody who is breaking the rules such as teaming in a solo game, they can take a screenshot or record it and report them on the forums.

Honestly, I doubt anything will change, but hey, always worth a shot to express my feelings toward the server and hope for the better.

While I agree with you on multiple fronts, I've heard Bic on Ts about how they won't institute a team limit because "it's supposed to be a social event and encourage you to make new friends."

If you don't like big teams, my best advice is to just play with me or play on the Hive (or the Nexus if you still want to royally kick ass every game).

You'll only see an 8 man team if there's a clan battle/scrimmage. If it's not one then they're probably really bad and can easily be killed.

Although teams can be very irritating just as Bic said this is supposed to be a social event. People have fun in teams. Honestly towards the ender pearl i have a feeling you're only looking at it negatively when someone else uses it to get away from you. Trust me if you're ever in a situation where you're being chased by a team i'm sure you wouldn't mind an ender pearl then.

EDIT: I'd like to say that i'm not trying to hate on you're idea or anything but usually posting threads about teams being to big and something and trying to get an item out of the sponsor menu don't do much. I've posted threads like these before which i regret because it was just out of my own irritation and wasn't a thread to better the server. So just for a tip next time think before posting a thread.

@Shanrrbananrr will surely slap me for this, but I agree with TiffanySherman about the too large teams. (That's the only time I'll probably ever side with Tiff over Shan lul).

Alright, yes enderpearl a are helpful. However, it's pretty unfair :/

To begin with.

The sponsor list is not unfair. Theres plenty of maps with a secret enderpearl on them and many other items like enchanting bottles and such. Some of those items are against the rules

Yes, theres can be long teams, but heres how to find if there a big team on your lobby:

1. A lot of Youtubers.
2. You can always read the chat to check who's teaming who's not.

Also, teams around 8 are usually either Youtubers or a clan scrimming.

And, about teams. Just learn to deal with them. You can't kill every team you fight, but at least try.

There's a reason why they have the most OP item in the sponsor menu the most expensive (and only 1 use).

As for the sponsor list, I really couldn't disagree more, considering the fact that the only useful thing on that list is the ender pearl anyway.

Teams on the other hand have caused a well-rounded discussion on the forums, with many people having varied opinions on the subject, and here's my take on it:

Teams should be limited. But, have an extremely high limit. Like 7 or 8. If you go above that, you're basically forcing a win for you and the rest of your team, making the game for everybody else a force-loss. Which, is pretty pathetic.

I usually don't care about teams that much, but I've seen some crazy teams in some games that literally don't even provide a chance at killing, since some are so built up and stacked, that you basically have no choice but to try and pick off one or two if you're lucky.

Would this be a pain to enforce? If you can enforce block-glitching, you can enforce too big of teaming.
