Welp since apparently Talking about A Youtube channel (Which yes is off topic) Hurts The MCSG website Traffic (somehow?).I guess i'll just make a pointless thread. Since we can't talk about what this Sub-forum says to talk about, how about we talk about cats.

I think this picture best describes the lack of logic presented by the mcsg staff, And or community.

Ah much better. something on topic, but wait, this is belongs here, because it's not on topic. On topic being the mcsg server community...but i guess it makes more Sense to post a picture of a cat for no reason, then to post something that can be viewed as productive. Eh, to each his own?

Haha well sort of. Just want everyone to know how stupid i think Most of the staff are. Like they do Random crap That doesn't make sense, they don't do it because it's better for the forums or mcsg, they do it because they can. Now, if i was advertising a Website or server, i could understand, but i fail to see whats wrong with a youtube channel. The answer? nothing, absolutely nothing, which is the reason no mods have argued their point, because they don't have one.

So you understand if you advertise a website or server but you don't understand that youtube is a website? I hope you now see why the staff did that.

Okay, but the only reason a website would be a problem, is if it was related to a minecraft server. the reason why They don't want you Advertising websites, is because usually the websites advertised Are strictly minecraft based, thus taking MCSG's players. BUT if i'm advertising my channel, that is on youtube, it isn't harmful in anyway. It's not like i'm trying to do anything devious, or i have an agenda of any kind. Advertising a website BASED on minecraft yes, that would be bad. Advertising A minecraft server, yes that would be bad. Advertising a youtube channel? give me one reason why that would hurt MCSG, A legit reason. Not some petty B.S.

I hope you see now why a rule against youtube channels on the forums, is completely pointless.

There's nothing wrong with advertising a youtube channel if it has MCSG content. I don't really understand what you're talking about. Right now you really just look like a child who dislikes the staff and hasn't given a real reason. What makes you think they don't know what they're doing? Can you give me some examples? What would you rather they do?
