If you play at night a lot, you will find this useful. Your computer screen is brighter than outside, and may strain your eyes. f.lux will reduce the eyestrain by changing the color of your computer / laptop screen into an orange hue (or something like that). A click of a button can disable and enable it.

Pros :
Your eyes don't get twitchy as bunnies when you play.
Easier to sleep
Easy to get used to it

Cons :
FPS may be reduced by 10-30% during the transitions, and 10% overall.

For me, it helps the eyestrain a lot. Avaliable on Linux, Windows, and Mac. Avaliable on iPad and iPhone as well but you have to jailbreak it.
When you have it installed I suggest to give the application your location, and set the transition to ''Fast''. Ignore the other buttons and stuff.

To summarize....
low eyestrain
amaze
sexy orange hue
wow

*starts reading* This is awesome!
*gets to the cons* Oh. Can't have my FPS go any lower ;-;
It's only during the time its color is shifting. Once it stabilizes, it's back to normal.

This is pretty awesome. xD Will be really helpful whenever I'm too lazy to get up and turn on the light. (Not being sarcastic, either.. lol)
