They don't get near as cold temperatures in in marine provinces, it has to do with the ocean or something . I know that Vancouver never really gets overly cold.

It depends, are you talking about Celsius or Fahrenheit? Celsius it's not that cold, but if you are talking about Fahrenheit, that's cold.
