How to Spot a HACKER.

Just to clarify something, unless you're reporting a spambot in chat, screenshots will not be enough evidence against a hacker. We require all hacker reports to have unedited video evidence uploaded as an unlisted video to Youtube.com.
Additionally, do not confront a hacker. The best course of action would be to record them and posting the evidence at http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/forums/report-abuse/ or call for a moderator in the hub or poke one of us on Teamspeak. Include the hacker's name, the hack you suspect they're using or what they're doing, and the server (assuming they're in your game, you can find out what server you're in with /i).
Confronting them is a negative thing because they might try to report you for harassment which would be unfortunate or they'll turn the hacks off and go unpunished since there's no evidence against them.

Nope. A screenshot cannot show what a video can. Even if the screenshot is clear, images are more easily tamperered than a video. We cannot a hacker with a screenshot. It's a strict policy. Plus, if the hacker disputes the ban, a video is conclusive and can justify a ban, unlike an image.

"(See him fly,go straight to 10 or more chests, kill three players at the same time, etc)"
if they go straight to 10 chests, 9/10 times they arn't using chest finder.
Good players have routes on most maps, therefore catching these types of hacks are almost impossible, as sad as it is.

Your policies are yours and mine are mine :3 No pun intended. But yes, this server does not ban with screenshots. The reason it is in the thread is to doubly record anything. And you'd have to be as good as Slamacow to edit a video and make it not too obvious

Screenshots are easy to tamper I agree. And you can post the video on the forums other than YT.
Most of the hackers I've seen on MCSG use Nodus, Rubix, and Kinky. It's easy to tell the difference. Nodus users have FF and can hit you in every direction when you come into their range. Kill Aura on Kinky and Rubix I think. Kill arua is the same as FF except the fact that the user head twitches sideways like crazy.
