I already touched on this topic here, but people made the point that saplings have another use. Seeds on the other hand, don't.
So, Seeds, remove or keep them?
My argument against some existing points (from the other thread):
It is called survival games, so you have to do annoying stuff to survive.
- Yes, seeds are annoying, but are they crucial to your survival?
On cherenboyl 2015 there's a route where you need any item and put it on Iron plates for a chest and since its at the begging of the game you use seeds
- Why keep seeds on the entirety of MCSG for one chest on one map?
- And seeds aren't even required for that chest -- anything else works fine. I'm sure you can get something you don't want from a chest on your way to that spot.
I'm sorry you can't take 2 seconds of your life to clear seeds out of your inventory. I wouldn't mind the removal, but I couldn't care less either way. Seeds aren't game-breaking and hardly effect you, lol.
- I can take two seconds to remove seeds from my inventory, but they are annoying. It's a two second fix compared to other suggestions, and even if they 'hardly' affect you, there's still that hardly.
On the casino on SG1 like said you use seeds to drop onto the pressure pad if anything there useful I mean does it really take long to drop them out of your inventory
Useful definition: "able to be used for a practical purpose or in several ways"
- The majority of us throw out seeds. If we are all doing that, why not have them? Yes it's 2 seconds, but it's an easy fix for developers to remove them.
- Practically, using seeds for pressure pads doesn't really make sense... It'd be practical to plant them... but in MCSG, yeah...
- You don't need seeds for the casino, you can use anything. And again, why have seeds only for the casino (and maybe Chernobyl) on the entirety of MCSG for one chest and a little bonus?
- We are using seeds as an item, not as seeds. And that's the only use... The only use of seeds is something every item in the game can do.
