It probably just feels faster because you're not laggy. I'm pretty sure internet has no effect on Frames.

Intel is preety good for computers, but for gaming, It is usually prefered, AMD Some gaming AMD editions:
AMD Octacore (8 core)
4.5Ghz Incredible. Try it, They say Intel is better because is well known, I use intel (Core I7 4790k) It is good, but AMD is better , from a gaming point of view.I have 4 GeForce Gtx Titans, what about you?

They're sort of the same thing really. Business are trending more towards Intel now, and PC (as in Personal Computer, not just Windows) like AMD more as it allows for more user customization upon purchase. My Samsung Windows 8 laptop has an AMD, but my HP Pavilion Windows Vista has an Intel and - here comes the sad part - they both run tasks at about the same time applications-wise (e.g. they open Minecraft with GLSL shaders mod + SEUS at the same time).

Depends on the price range. AMD if you only have around $100-150 (get an fx-6300 or an fx-8320), and intel if you have $200+. I have an i7-3770k and an r9 280x tho .
