What is minecraft? I have heard of it, but I haven't played it before. I am too busy playing cod with 7 year olds to play minecraft

But for real, this isn't a good way to make friends, because people could make judgements about you based on your interation with others (making people try out to be friends with you, and telling someone who replied "Well I guess I have to play with you since you are the only one who replied" makes you come off in ways that could turn people away) Get some irl friends to play, or just add people to skype, and actually have a conversation with them to see if you want to be friends with them. Sorry, I might have just ranted here
