Why is that when there is an event I want to go to and I'm available I can't go, and visa versa?

By the time I saw this post, it was about 2 hours to late...plus I personally wouldn't want to drive an hour to get to Denver just to play mcsg which I can play at home. They should spread them out across Colorado to make my life easier
