Hey guys, my name is Pro_H1j4ker2345, I'm from the Au servers. So let's stop talking about me and focus on what this thread is really about. Basically I'm going to tell you the whole journey for my mum's breast cancer.
Ok let's start off, My mum's mum informed my mum that in their family they have a extreme breast cancer gene, BRCA1, normally 90-95% of all breast cancers aren't passed down through family! but unfortunately my mum was in the 5-10% that does. So back on with the story, So my mum went to go get a mammogram done, She thought she was all good, which is a mistake all women make. The tests came back positive for having breast cancer, they told her if she hadn't of done this mammogram, she wouldn't of made it to Christmas. She went into surgery. the surgeons took my mum's lymph nodes out for a test to see if the cancer had spread aswell as taking my mums breast. She went back for a catscan which showed that they hadn't got all the cancer out, and that it had grown twice in size! She was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, this is the worst cancer you can have. She went back under the knife, This time they did get everything, and they had to out her into chemotherapy straight away. She lost all her hair, eyebrows, any hair on your body, I know you may laugh at it, but it was mentally draining for her. As soon as she finished chemo, which is by far the worst part of the whole duration of treatment. She went back to see the results, which was earlier today. She was clear, All good, no worries at all, Well, some worries from the fact that she has to go back every 6 months because that's how severe her cancer is.
What I want to encourage to everyone is that to make your mum, sister, etc to go have this done. It is a silent killer and you never know if you have it or not. Please Just do it for the sake of their life...
