A Secret - Poem

A secret,
It can be small or big,
Good or bad,
But keeping them secret is never positive.

You keep them a secret for reasons,
To keep yourself or others safe.
But the truth to every secret,
Is everyone is OK with what it is.

Don't keep secrets hidden, just be brave and say your secrets. Being gay, breaking rules or anything else, just tell someone you care about a lot and they will help you tell your family/friends your secret. Secrets don't always have to be secret <3

(I know it isn't much of a poem, but this is a thread to say that a secret is always best to be told, never keep your secrets secret)

What if keeping the secret is protecting someone, and if you tell you end up hurting them? There are plenty of examples where keeping a secret is to the betterment of someone/something else.

But if you keep it a secret from them for too long, and they end up finding out the secret, then they may hurt more :/ But that's your decision to say it

What if it's more then just hurt? Death? Loss of a family member? And most of the time, they won't.
