Hello,

So I know some of you may not know the answer, or that this may not be the best place to post this. It's just that I am desperate for an answer.

So my problem is that I have created a custom 1.7 resource pack (A compilation of lots of ones) and once placed in the Minecraft Resource Pack folder it sees it but when I move it over to the right column and click "Done" it just goes to the default Minecraft Resource Pack...

I have also downloaded multiple 1.7 Resource Packs and non of them differ much from my own (Different textures etc...) and they work?!?!

If anyone knows an answer please reply! Also if you need anymore information I can post it.

Thanks for your time,
-Ennobay

Could you go a little more in detail as to what happens to the Resource Pack you created?

I just put where I always have to run them in 1.7 and it just doesn't recognize it and defaults to the default resource pack:

Then it doesn't change anything:

Hmm... Do you have all the folders organized in the resource pack data itself? If you were to download, for example, R3dcraft and take a look at the folders in it, you would know how you need it organized. Typically, if you do not have your data organized so that minecraft can recognize it, it will not comply with it. Just a suggestion. :)

Maybe you corrupted something? Make sure to know what you're replacing/deleting before doing it or maybe the texture pack is just not compatible.

Yes, I'm assuming that minecraft simply cannot recognize your RP folder. I'm not sure what it is that your RP is missing, but I would recommend downloading another resource pack for reference on how the folder data is organized.

Yup, looked at the default 1.7 RP, custom 1.7 RP and it all matches up.

Did that many times... Will look more in depth tomorrow.

Have done what you two suggested and no result:'(
Thanks for the advice though!

Okay so here is the recording of me going through the process of making a texture pack. It was meant to be a tutorial on how to edit a texture pack so please bear with me if I explain obvious things xD This was just a test recording to see if the texture pack would work but it didn't end up doing so. Also sorry for it being so long, you can skip past some parts.

So after ending the recording I changed many things:
-Changed how the files where organized (based it off of another 1.7 RP)
-Removed the MCPatcher folder and tried opening it in normal 1.7

All these things did not help :/

P.S Just ignore the intro, it was meant to be for the 400 sub special :(
