1.7 Sprint

Hello, I am wondering about the new 1.7 sprint mod. In 1.7, you can press Lcontrol to activate sprint. Will this be allowed to be used in MCSG?

As it's the new default sprint then yes. Though I'm not completely sure if the new sprint will work on multiplayer.

I believe the new sprint will work in multiplayer, as it's a vanilla feature. - Meaning Minecraft decided it was good, (or Mojang. w/e. same thing.)

I'm unsure as I've tried the sprint on a 1.7.2 server, but it didn't work.

Yep, I just tried in another server and I did work

I tried joining a 1.7 server, but it gave me some Java message, and didn't allow me to log in.

Yep, I joined a vanilla 1.7.2 server just now, and sprint worked. I was also able to change the hotkey to shift (and sneak to F) and that also worked.

Yep. On the first server I joined it wasn't working and then i tried another one and it did work.

I believe the sprint feature is somehow limited to certain Multiplayer Servers. However, I do not know if this works on MCSG servers. :/

Once the vanilla sprint feature introduced in 1.7 works on multiplayer, that is totally fine. Is it was you will. But the BSM mod which one downloads and installs is not allowed and will never be allowed.
