In my opinion he has helped the community, but I am not sure if handing people V.I.P or friend for being really active is the greatest idea. People will be active for the chance of getting one of these ranks and then won't be active after that. I am really unsure, it is up to the higher ranked staff if he were ot get any rank for this. All in all I have no idea.

Encouraging activity is not much of an argument though as that's what we aim for. Some situations though yes some people would take the rank and leave as some sort of memorial.

Also, if this were to happen other cases would be taken on a case by case basis. It's not like we'd make a rule where if you get 10,000 posts, you'd get Friend. Forum games would be mobbed. We'd look for people that are active and helpful. That would be a great thing to encourage people to do.

He would have to get an age exception.

Also, Friend rank isn't for people who are active in the community. It would like me getting VIP for following 9001 people.
