That could definitely work. But with the devs rolling out new maps and getting ready for 1.7, I don't think we should expect this anytime soon.

I liekI support this kind of idea, but if you're purchasing your pet with points (that as you said before aren't really worth much) I feel your pet should "expire" after a month. That way, players are encouraged to continue playing to get their pet back each month, or if they don't like that particular pet it'll be gone in a month anyways.
Then we could have an option to buy pets that never expire or exclusive pets for real life currency (maybe $5 USD or $10 USD) in the MCGamer shop.
Thoughts?
I don't think they should expire at all, I think you should just be able to buy more and more so you'd eventually have all the pets and could just switch between them.I support this kind of idea, but if you're purchasing your pet with points (that as you said before aren't really worth much) I feel your pet should "expire" after a month. EDIT: Come to think of it, a month seems too long for points that can be earned easily. Maybe they'd expire after 2 weeks?
I thought of this, and I could only justify this if they were worth a ton of points. But then I got to thinking that some people struggle gathering points, so I figured having them worth less points but having them expire would allow people who aren't as good to have pets as well. You could always have a second option worth more points that could be a permanent option. And I'm certainly not against people owning multiple pets. Just food for thought, something to stimulate the gameplay. :]I don't think they should expire at all, I think you should just be able to buy more and more so you'd eventually have all the pets and could just switch between them.
