I think i might create a guide about gaming laptops because a few people on the forums have been asking about them. Ill include High end laptops, Cheaper budget laptops and what they can run, which would be bedt for you and why to get one. If you would like me to do this just like or say because i will be happy too. :)

RAM 4GB
HDD 500GB
Nvidia Geforce GT 630M 2GB
Do you know the cost? I might be going to Florida and since everything is cheaper there than in Montreal I might buy it there.

That would be awesome if you can!
it would be awkward asking the guy at the store "Do you have any laptops that I can play Minecraft on?"
He probably won't know what it is :p
But yeah great idea :)

It's okay. I'm still thinking about laptops.
I've been looking around, and I found that the memory video something (forgot what it was called) should be dedicated rather than integrated. 64bit...... Can't find anything good with intel core i7 without going over priced...
I know those Alienware laptops cost a fortune so those are out of the question...
You probably know this already but, what? I like learning (especially when it isn't about school-related subjects).
Thanks for writing about it. I really want to get my spec up 'cause it's at 0 and just enjoy Minecraft more in general, while I'd like it to have other things (using it for schoolwork and stuff probably when the year begins)
thanks again :D

If i were you ,I'd make a site and make some sort of partnership with MCSG so you can have your site linked with this one.

But if you don't want that,no problem, well there might be some, unless you ask chad to make a new section in miscellaneous like Tech Reviews/Best bargain :)

Hope I helped

Wait you just need a laptop for programming and Minecraft? Well you don't need a GTX 680 for that ;)

Are you talking about a desktop rig? because my rig cost $550 and it runs BF3 better than your rig you just posted.
Specs of your PC ? :D

That is a good idea, but it's not really MCSG related, so I suggest maybe making something on the Minecraft forums or if Mojang likes it puts it on their website. WHOA I'm going overboard.
But yeah you should put it on the MC forums because it might help others too and Minecraft is Minecraft not MinecraftSurvialGames.
Maybe then Chad can link it or make a post about it.

"Just for programming Minecraft" no, I'll use it for school work, watching videos, playing Minecraft, recording videos, uploading videos, writing projects and stuff, reaserching, facebook/twitter/all that snazzy stuff, and so on... so not just for Minecraft. Just want a GOOD laptop that is not that expensive but can run Minecraft well and will allow me to do the stuff that I really should be doing on a laptop.

I'm thinking the max would be 750 CAD, 800 only if it's worth it.
I don't want to spend too much, I'm not a hardcore gamer.
I would maybe travel with it sometimes, but I don't want it freaking giant...
