Explanation:
When there is no light, everything is black. Test this out by going into a photographic dark room. There are no photons of light. In other words, there are no photons of colors.

Let me correct you. Black is the mixture of all colors. White is the absence of all colors. That said, Black is the absence of light, so that is why it confuses many people.

White light is the mixture of Red Orange Yellow Green Indgio Blue Violet.
To tell that this is true, get a prism then point light at it, the prism would disconnect all colours, making it the mixture of all colours.
Black is the absence of light, same with the absence of colour, because when a object is black, in a dark room (If you are talking about fake black, alright you got me) no light is hitting it making it black, if no light is hitting it, it cannot be a colour, because white light isn't hitting it.
That's what I learned in Science 8.
