First name: Spencer
IGN(s): GotCubes
Nickname(s): Cubes
Age: 16
Region: US. You'll see me on the EU and AU hubs every now and again.

One Cool Fact: I solve Rubik's Cubes as a hobby. Yes, actual puzzles. Like those ones that you got when you were 12 and sold at a garage sale for 15 cents. Give me any cubic puzzle, and I'll solve it. My best time on the standard 3x3 cube is 19.79 seconds at the moment. Someone please help me. :p
One Embarrassing Fact: I once was at a party where I decided to get some water to drink, and there was one of those gallon containers with a spout at the bottom. It was dark outside at the time. What I tasted wasn't water, and I spit it out immediately thinking that it was alcohol. Good thing it was an outdoor party and nobody was really around at the time. Later I realized that it was apple juice.
One Fact that makes you proud: I've won 45 games to this date. w00t! w00t! :D
One Fact no one would ever guess about you: I don't use the default Minecraft mouse controls.
Most Common question you get asked: "Can I have your autograph?" :p But for real, people often ask me on Minecraft how to increase your chances of becoming a staff member.
Favorite Animal: Koala
Favorite Plant: Ficus. Why? It's fun to say ;)
Favorite Color: Red
Favorite Food: I really like Mexican style and extremely spicy foods, but everything pretty much works for me.
Biggest Pet Peeve: Definitely people making obnoxious sounds with their mouths, weather it be chewing, clicking, slurping, etc. I really have no idea why, but it just irks me.
Astrological Sign: No idea. Probably some sort of thingy with the who-watzits.
Personal Catchphrase: "What is up all you beautiful people? It is GotCubes!"
Heard about MCG by: Pure luck. Googled up some Minecraft servers, and I found Hunger Games in Minecraft, which lead to this!
Ever Bring someone to MCG: I guess if it would be anybody, it would be my younger brother. His username is Redclaw273, but he almost never plays. If you see him, make sure to give him a good sword to the face for me! :D (Note: My brother is a snazzy dude.) I guess you could say that Lively got me the most interested in MCSG.
First friend in the community: Mr_Gears was the first person that I officially met through Team Speak, which was the first way that I actually began to connect with people in the community.
MCG role-model: KellieBreanne has always been someone that I've looked up to. She lead my interview, and I owe much of my success to her. :)
Things that you’ve done/are proud of: Tons of things! One very important one was the decision to study to be an Engineer. Yup. Just like in TF2. But in all seriousness, I'm involved in a program called Project Lead the Way that teaches a wide variety of Engineering fields. I'll hopefully be attending an Engineering related college in about a year and a half.
Who would win in a fight, you or Chad?: I'd fall off a cliff before Chad could, so he would totally win.
Call me maybe?: Yes.
Do you team in game: Usually. I have so many awesome friends in the community that it's actually rather hard to be in a game by myself.
Have you been backstabbed: Let's not talk about that. :p
Ever Broken a bone: Yup. I was about 8 when my friend pushed me down my flight of 13 steps while playing at my house. On instinct, I jumped to try and clear the steps, and land on the ground. However, My foot caught on the very last stair and I broke my left foot.
Would you rather be a fish or a bird?: Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. That is all.
Personal Skills: Rubik's Cubes. Engineering. Robot design and coding. Left handedness, major nubbiness.
Computer specs: Currently on an HP Envy dv6 laptop with an A8 processor. 20-60 FPS is usual, and it's fine for me.
Computer operating system: Winderz 8
Program I use to record: Fraps
Favorite movie: Don't watch many movies, but probably Swiss Family Robinsons.
Favorite music genre/band/song/artist/composer: My tastes range from pretty much anything from Classical to Electronic music. The only two genres that I can live without are Rap and Country. *Shrug*
Favorite game (other than Minecraft): Original Super Mario. Nuff said.
Favorite character from fiction: Beatrice Prior. Divergent Book Trilogy by Veronica Roth.
What does a fox say?: Show me the Carfax!!!
Terrified of: Heights
Personal website: Nope.
Favorite website (Other than these forums): Either youtube.com or slowrobot.com
Dream job: Engineering.
What job you currently are doing, or plan to do: I'm currently a lifeguard at my local Ymca, which is about 30 seconds by foot from my house. :D It's awesome.
Favorite thing about the community: We can all be nubs together!

Fun fact about Ficus: This one time at band camp, my friends threw a ficus on me to wake me up in the morning.

Sadly no. I've been considering getting one for quite a while, but the concept just doesn't really appeal to me. :/
As I've said multiple times, my friends really into that stuff (so he has some) and I also thought the same as you until I tried it. It's pretty fun and sorta easy. :p

I have no doubt that it's easy, I'm sure I could memorize it in about an hour or so. But the thing is that it just kind of seems too easy. It's the exact same thing forwards and backwards every time. Of course that's odd coming from the guy who made a 1x1x1 cube.
