I also have a mac, one of the most annoying things I've ever experienced. I was able to get it fixed once, by clicking my mouse 15000 times xD

It's the touchscreen. If you toggle it off, it should work. Spice, what year is your Mac?

2013 MacBook Air. However, I don't recall having my settings in Touchscreen mode. Is there perhaps a hotkey that does this?

Nvm i reinstalled minecraft which fixed the problem Thanks Anyway

Make sure you don't have "Touch Screen Mode" on. I did that once by accident..

Why some people want to have touchscreen on? I mean it is hard to organize your inventory when playing , I don't find any cons.
