Reset W/L Ratio!?

I dont really like this idea, personally
the win/loss ratio really reflects how quickly a player has learnt to win MCSG rounds (fortunately I learnt rather quickly, with help from @MahxiXBL) and if players could reset this would completely ruin this system. I vote against reset of stats. Also, this means players could abuse this until they got all wins for example, just an all round bad idea. ;_;

My w/l sucks and remember you had prior experience with minecraft pvp whereas I did not.

Not abused in that sense, but in a sense that it would cause server lag with all the people resetting their stats and all the calculations being done. This is just an assumption really, but I think it's a logical one.

That part I get, but he was talking about resetting over and over until you get perfect stats. But yeah, lag would be a problem, and there would have to be a limit on the number of times you could reset, or how often.

That's another reason why w/l doesn't show how quick you were to learn.

Also, People have brothers, those people might get their stats reset but their brothers..That won't end well..

People might just keep resetting til they have a perfect ratio, it's kinda loses the point of playing for stats anyways.

No one would be impressed with like 9/10. People are only impressed if they can maintain that over hundreds of games.

Ok for instance, Flok and Croe. Their mum needs croe for a minute, he is afk in the hub. Flok, for some reason hates croe, he goes to his computer and resets it.

There are many brothers that both play mcsg.

If I had a sibling who I knew hated my guts, I would be sure to log off whenever I need to go somewhere.

Of course the issue here is their own responsibility, but it also affects everyone else here because people would constantly be making threads saying "OMG BROTHER RESET MY STATS CAN I HAVE BACK PLS". That is definitely true, and I agree, but there is more to the issue than just their problem.

Yes, but with all the hundreds of people doing this after every game, it would cause more lag than just from one person resetting his stats after every loss.

I think the most efficient and professional way to do this would, again, be having to request it on the forums or apply for it somehow. This will bring more traffic to the forums (which is good, new friends is a good thing even if we have to teach them how to forum) and cause less abuse of resetting.

I don't think this is a good idea. Developers already have enough work to do, to think on implementing this idea. Nevertheless, lets not forget that if players were able to do this they would abuse it, of course the would abuse it.

This is the problem... on every feature suggestion a person says "Oh this is not worth the time of developers" WHEN IS IT WORTH THE TIME OF THE DEVELOPERS?
