Many people join the forums each day, and they wonder, "How exactly can I become well-known on the MCSG forums?" For all of the people out there who are wondering this question, here are some answers.

1. POST!: This is the most obvious one. Posting doesn't mean creating or posting threads that are pointless. Being active on the forums can make sure that people out there see your content. Remember that what you post is how people view you.

2. Be Active in the Community: Although this sort of ties in with the other one, there is more to being active than just posting. For example, you can join the MCSG TeamSpeak and meet some new people. As with the other one, make sure that you make a good impression on people. Along with this, you can join a clan. Becoming noticed in the PvP world can also gain peoples' interest.

3. Become a staff member: Interested in helping the community out? If you are age 15+ (With some age exceptions), have not been banned, and write an exceptional mod application, you may just get accepted to an interview! If you get the privilege of becoming a mod, your job is to help the MCSG community out in many ways.

4. Don't be afraid: Have fun! MCSG was created so there could be a fun, loving community. Don't be afraid to post your opinions as long as it doesn't start huge flame wars.

Let me know if I missed anything
Thanks!

It's quite honestly logic friend.
Yes, I know that, but being a new member, people may not take this seriously. Me, having over 800 posts, still don't think I am "well known".

Unfortunately, that is true. Hopefully I can start getting more active in the community.

Well if you want validity, as one of the most active members of all time, you're right. Frankly being active, funny, kind, and helpful is all you need. I'm not special in any other way yet I'm well known :p

Other points:
-Becoming involved in big projects makes people remember your name.
-Being friendly towards others - not just on the forums but ingame.
-Make a map, this is one of the best ways to get your name known.

If you really want people to recognise you, don't do it by boosting your post count in forum games. Make legitimately helpful posts; just look at G33ke. From what I recall, he doesn't have very much posts, yet he is widely known because his posts are consistently of a very high quality.
