How did you start playing minecraft?

Back in Summer of 2012, I got the Minecraft app for the iPhone, and I thought it was kinda boring compared to what I'd seen on Youtube, but at the time I didn't have the money for it so I saved up for about 3 months and finally got the money, and then BAM, I was a Minecraft pro. Didn't start mcsg till later though :3
