How did you start playing minecraft?

A little normal, but I'd like to see. I was told about the game by toby22, and smallr.

I started playing around January 2011. I discovered the game when I was browsing youtube one day, and I knew I had to have it when I saw a video of it.

I discovered MCSG on April 19th, 2012. I found it from another server I was mod on that had the MCSG plugin and map installed.

I played with friends on xbox when I still had a life, and saw a captainsparklez hunger games video. Me and my friends switched over to pc minecraft. Worst decision ever.

Hmm. Pretty cool. I started playing mcsg about November 2012.

I personally find PC Minecraft so much better than the Xbox version.

One morning in the middle of night, I was in a camp I saw some peeps my age talking about something, I walked by them, and they were talking about minecraft. At first this was so confusing to me, as I learned more, it seemed kind of dumb to me, but I still wanted to play it. The day I came back, I looked it up, and found the webpage, it was so cool, but money seemed to be a problem to me. One day, I figured out there were free versions, I played one, it was at first boring playing survival, but it just sprouted on me and I began loving this game. About a year later, my friend quit minecraft, and gave me his account. I was playing legut minecraft for the first time, starting at 1.4.7 realese. It was when 1.5 realese till I made my own account.

PC Minecarft didn't steal your life, all it has done is help you kill a lot of time. It's not like you just sit on the computer 24/7...
