Losing, Gaining Points?

I have been finding that if I jump off a cliff or fall in lava 5/10 mins after combat i lose points, when I am teaming with my friend we end up losing the points we got from winning the last game, because one of us suicides. Equally, I might hit someone at the start and be awarded 5 points nearer the end of the game. To avoid problems, it would be nice to know precisely how you get/lose your points.

If you get hit by someone then die by means other than another player the last person to hit you gets the points I believe. If a player kills you they get points of course. You get points by being the last person to hit someone before they die/log-out, or by winning.

It should be that once you reached full health, the last person won't get the said points.

I would have to agree with both of these players. Say you get hit at the beginning by a forcefield hacker who spins round maniacally at the beginning crit hitting everyone, you then run away and 5 minutes fall into lava. He will get the points. How is this fair? He, in no way influenced you falling into lava. Why should you lose the points? I think the should be a 1 minute timer where if you die 1 minute after last being hurt by another player, you do not lose points by dieing.
