Pokémon Gen 1 Playthrough: (Plus a lesson on Gen 1)

So it's been a little over 24hrs since I started my Playthrough of Blue and I thought I'd give an update on the progress.
So far I've caught all catchable Pokemon up to Cerulean City except Weedle. (I did catch a Kakuna and evolve it)
What I've been basically doing is catching the pokemon, and training it till evolves, and if I don't feel like using it anymore, dropping it in the PC.
I'm not bothering training them if If I can find a wild one later.

Current Pokedex Completion: 73 Seen - 21 Caught (If I'm reading the Japanese right)

  • Zubat Lv15 (7 more levels till I can throw it in the box for all eternity)
  • Spearow Lv17 (3 more levels, I'll probably stop using it after it evolves)
  • Wartortle Lv17 (Keeping it around cuz Blastoise swag)
  • Pidgiotto Lv20 (Keeping this around)

I'd enjoy it if you'd use a Sandshrew and a Jigglypuff Mankey and Bellsprout would be cool aswell

Catch a sandshrew! A sandlash helped me a lot when I first beat leafgreen!
