Major rise in ping on the AU servers....

I haven't seen too many people complaining about this issue yet so I thought I might make a thread so we can try to get to the bottom of this. At first I thought this major rise in ping would be because of the servers moving to a new location, but I think chad or one of the developers would've notified us if this is the case. Now this is a weird issue because some people seem to be doing just fine and getting the same MS as usual, but others are having a rise of up to 800MS. I am with telstra and a few other people I have talked to are also with telstra and they are also experiencing this issue. So if anyone has any information that may contribute to an explanation of why many people are getting horrendous MS, please post a response below so we can try and get to the bottom of this issue

Funnily enough this issue hasn't affected me whatsoever for some reason , but the fact that the majority of players are sitting with a 3 bar is quite bad. However I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the database and nothing to do with CubedHost and MCSG. I guess all we can do is be patient and hope this whole ordeal blows over soon so we can all go back to normal.

In EU , it hasn't got so much lag , I mean you may see 1 or 2 players in every game lagging , but that's it none else

I'm getting ridiculous lag on the AU servers. I've lost constant games in a row that I should've won.

I will not blame the lag for losing games , it is most of it my mistakes , sometimes I get to play with even 10.000 points players xP or just lag in 1 out of million times :3

I'm Australian and I get a better ping to US than AU currently... I'd say Australia is having it worse.

I have played some AU , and I see it has some lag too....But I have not been going there lately , playing more US and EU...

Same here. Maybe it's a problem with our carriers? I'm using BigPond, ik that's really bad, not too sure about Telstra though. I've lost quite a few games because I randomly have lag spikes, either DC'ing me, killing me in PVP, making me fall in traps, running out of memory etc.

Also @darkai202 that is a wierd profile pic. Is that what all narwhals look like

Yeah I have bigpond too but telstra, bigpond, meh same thing
