Hello everyone,

So I thought I'd make one of those a "My Minecraft/MCSG Story!" thread, I'm quite bored at this point in time :p. I feel I've at the point where I've settled into the community and I'm at a good point in time to create a thread like this. Please note that this is both a Minecraft and MCSG story, not solely MCSG.

It all started in 2010, when I first played Minecraft. The library at school was open and I thought I'd go in and have a look at what everyone was doing. Please note that I'm not one of those "Library kids", no I do not sit in the library every single lunch time and play games/read. This was actually a different thing for me. So I walked in there and I noticed several peers playing the same game; Minecraft. I believe they were playing Minecraft Classic on the minecraft.net website. Even though it was just blocks I was instantly intrigued by this game. For those of you who remember Minecraft Classic, it was very...colourful, especially Multiplayer with all the colourful banners, signs, buildings and everything. Coloured wool was also in Minecraft Classic and it was not seen again until Beta 1.2. It was amazing to me, especially because Minecraft was one of the first "semi-serious" PC games I ever played. Before that it was just Club Penguin and other little games. Anyway, I was so fascinated by Minecraft that I decided to create an account and begin.

What was the first thing I did on Minecraft? I believe I joined a Minecraft Classic server called "TF2 Rebel's Lodge", it was just a basic freebuild server. I also liked to play the Zombie Survival and Lava Survival servers. I was very into building and earning ranks on servers, it was very fun back then. There was a thing called 'WoMClient' that allowed you to fly around and build more easily. I would spend hours building houses (which now that I look back were really bad) in an effort to earn ranks such as Builder, Advanced Builder, Architect, etc. Then at one point in time I discovered "The Minecraft That Costs Money". I bought my first Minecraft account in what I remember to be the Alpha stage of Minecraft.

My memory is pretty foggy when it comes to Minecraft Alpha, a lot of people remember it very well, I don't. That said, I do remember the simplicity. I remember the first goal when you started Minecraft was to "survive your first night". Also, wasn't there no sprinting back then? Imagine no sprinting in PvP now :p. I guess I just did the regular things that anyone did back then; build a house, fight some mobs. So yeah, not too much more to add here. If you are interested as to what Alpha was like, click HERE.

As Minecraft progressed I was only playing it on and off. I got interested in Call of Duty and Xbox and tended to play them more. Then I discovered Hunger Games. I'd read the books, watched the movie, now I could play the game. I didn't play on MCSG (I wish I had of), I actually played on an EU hosted server which one of my favourite YouTubers played on from time to time. Let's just say I played it more to get recordings for my YouTube Channel, not to get wins and join in on the community. The only map available was SG1 and mobs were turned on. I remember spiders were the most annoying thing, they'd just chase and chase and chase and chase you. I'd die to mobs more than I would to other players. But yeah, I wasn't very good. I played with 10-20 FPS on the lowest possible settings. After a while I quit playing Hunger Games and just went back to other things in life, until I found MCSG.

I found MCSG by searching "Australian Survival Games Servers" in Google. I racked up a couple of wins when trying to get recordings for my YouTube Channel. I was okay at PvP because I was one of the best PvPers on a certain server that I played on, but I struggled in Survival Games. I slowly got better by watching videos, reading strategies on the forums, refining my PvP skills and joining clans. The first clan I joined was #Ignite, it was owned by SwAmPdOnKeY28 and MultiRyno123. Ever since joining Ignite I've never not been in a clan with them, we've become good friends. Recently I decided to see if I could slip out of the clan side of things, I have recently applied for Moderator and I have got accepted for Interview.

So that's basically what I'm up to right now, who knows what's coming up in the next chapter of my story.
