Are you happy that you fishing rods aren't going to be used for pvp anyomore?

The fishing rod does low damage and from what I've seen doesn't provide nearly as much advantage as would be necessary to consider it being banned. It has effective handicaps, (Range limitations) and I've never seen it become a match decider.

The right people? you mean the people who practiced with them, just like the guys who practice with Bows and Arrows, or Flint and Steel? I'm not denying their usefulness, but their effectiveness is on par with every other weapon, there's nothing to suggest they need nerfing at all. I don't wish to make this an argument, but frankly I haven't seen evidence that made me want Fishing Rods banned.

I just don't think it was made to be a weapon, and once you're good with the fishing rod it's annoying that you cannot get any hits or getting boosted everywhere...
