Well, you don't need a microphone. Skype is just for communicating purposes, exchanging ideas, etc., which can be done by typing. Well, if you feel like it, you can contribute with art, plot, writing, names, or pretty much anything else! We also will need suggestions for theme(s) in order to make it fit this:

I really love writing Sci-Fi/Fantasy, even though I'm too lazy to actually write. Thankfully I have a good memory to hold all the stuff I used to play a RPG Star Wars game at recess with my friends. I came up with some surprisingly interesting characters and connections for how old I was. I still remember a lot of them too.

Recently I was doodling after a math test and came up with the spark for a whole new Sci-Fi world. I'm excited to draw and create things in that world, maybe I'll get the chance to use it in an art project.

I'd love to help, but I just don't have a lot of time :/ Once football season ends I could probably help more.

Not to brag, but I'd say I'm a pretty solid essay writer as well as creative. They still use my science research paper as an example in 7th grade at my old school

Progress Update:
So far, HalfSquirrel, Lively, EpicRhubarb, and myself have been brainstorming and stuff for characters, themes, etc.

~Potential Characters~
Aerit - A light-hearted, fun fellow. Slightly on the young side. Dark hair, tan skin, rather slim.
Refkin - A rough mercenary. He's used to combat and camping, and is rather tough to surprise. In his late 20s to mid-30s.
Scott - A vegetarian who hates vegetables. Quite young, but mature for his age.
Pet Walrus - Literally, a pet walrus! He accompanies someone on their journeys (Not sure who, yet.) (@The_Arena_Master is Pet Walrus )
Ross - Old and kind of mean/snarky, but he knows his stuff. Average height and build. Short, choppy blonde hair, mid thirties.
Slifft - A young Pokemon trainer of about 14 years of age working to discover cool new legendary Pokemon

Ideas for plots/themes:

Sethbling (or some other youtuber that makes mini-games and such) made a new gametype for Minecraft, called MCGC (Minecraft Game Combination) which combines aspects of all sorts of different games:

• TF2
• Spelunky (A cave exploring platformer outside of Minecraft)
• MC Survival
• MCSG (Minecraft Survival Games)
• MCTIMV (Minecraft Trouble in Mineville)
• MCOITC (Minecraft One In The Chamber)
• Splegg (Egg spleef, you throw eggs at the ground and it destroys the block)
• Hide and Seek (You better know what that is. If not, you have no childhood or Hive experience )
• Zed Chase (Minecraft version of Temple Run)

It’s a game made in Minecraft, and volunteers are looked for from communities all around the Minecraft world. It’s a big game, consisting of at least 100 players, and a maximum of 1000 (not necessary to actually have 1000 for the story Not even 100 really, but I figured that’s a good number for a big game). Lots of big gaming youtubers will be there, not only specifically Minecraft ones like PewdiePie and others. They will be taking at most 943 volunteers.
Note: I came up with this essentially off the top of my head I will probably be changing it a lot as I get more ideas.

24 of the top players from the Leaderboards (MCSG) play out a Survival Games match (Hunger Games or Survival Games?) Perhaps as the game progresses, they’re teleported into another Survival Games map, or another game entirely (Such as TF2 or CS:GO or some other really cool game, or perhaps another Minecraft gametype.)

Anthology of short stories revolving around multiple games/gametypes

A group of players all play the same video game, and they’re in a group (Clan, team, etc.) But one day, that game transcends virtual reality - And becomes a reality! They, along with everyone else, are stuck in that game. However, they’re not only stuck in that game, but servers. They can switch between servers once a day (Or some interval of time), and can go back and forth between servers. Except they have a set number of lives - 1, 10, or unlimited (Any recommendations for life #?) And once they lose all their lives, they’re out. Either out of the game, or they just die. But they cannot contact the outside world, so they have no way of knowing what happens when you die (x) certain number of times.
- Alternate Version - Characters meet up IRL, but then some sort of massive event occurs, and they’re forced to adapt what they know from the game into real life

People are in an RPG server. As they play it more, it slowly takes over their life (Or they just play it more) and it becomes more… realistic? Eventually, they are emotionally impacted by things that go on in the game, and stuff happens.

(Set in a different world, but it’s a videogame world that isn’t Minecraft.) A game is released - It’s said to be amazing, with graphics almost as good as real life. It attracts hundreds of thousands of players, but each server is limited to ____ at once in order to prevent lag. There’s classes, which can’t be changed until they’re “Reborn,” which can only be done once you’re near the level cap, and skills.

Also, we have to settle on ONE idea before we can start the writing itself, so... any community help with that would be nice.
