I can't... they won't even let me ask for the password XD(TWC)Also i heard from somebody who works there if i lend somebody it i have to pay double and i don't have enough money to pay for Netflix,Food,Fridge,Internet,Eletricity and my House and tax bills every month XD
I used to have pretty decent internet. Then, we moved to California and for some reason my parent's wanted to switch to UVerse. Now, we pay more for internet and it's 10x slower.

I don't get why waiting for games to finish downloading is such a problem.

I have pretty much the same internet speed as you, except my ping is 3x higher xP. I still manage to upload to Youtube daily. I have a really good computer and you'll get used to it. One thing, if you're connecting to a router I REALLY recommend researching for the best wireless adapter. I made the mistake of getting a bad one and I lag out when going into the hub now :( Luckily I still have my laptop.

The actually gameplay won't be affected but it will take like a day to download, the BF4 for example (not sure if it'll actually be hosted on Origin) but they do save the current download percentage (atleast on BF3 on Origin they do).

Honestly man, internet connection makes up around 40% of your experience, if you're lagging and constantly disconnecting with a high ping then you'll just hate yourself for spending a lot on a PC.
Ask your parents to upgrade your bandwidth or maybe get BT infinity (or your network providers equiv.)
I'm about to spend £1k ($1.6k) on a gaming PC, and I've only recently upgraded my internet to 50mb/s

What are some good ones you know of? Preferably under $30.

Are you talking about Wi-Fi vs. Ethernet? Because if so, always go with Ethernet. Not only is it faster than Wi-Fi, but can half your ping. On another similar, but different note, you can always buy games at the store for PC, take them home, and install them on your computer. Then it will take 20 minutes. :) I've seen TF2, BO2, and BF3 at Target, as well as all the Sims games and stuff.

My only question is, would you have to have the disk in your computer to be able to play the game? I lied, one more question. If you have a router in your house, would you automatically be able to connect an Ethernet cable in your wall (By that I mean plug it in the slot next to the one where you would plug your cable and telephone in) and be able to access the internet?

Yes. Also, if you're trying to get a good internet company for under 30$ a month, good luck.

Well, look at it this way:
Wifi is generally slower than wired internet, but is often preferred simply because its so much more convenient - You can move around the house and whatnot, and use things like iPods, smartphones, etc. on your Wifi.

But if you're going to have a gaming PC, that means you'll have a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and computer, right?
You don't really move that around often, so if you can hook it up with a wire, then that's generally better. But for a laptop, Wifi is nicer because you can sit on your couch or whatever.

Also, maybe get your router/modem checked? Find out what speed your internet is supposed to be, then compare it to what it actually is? I had a friend in Canada who couldn't skype, due to their internet being extremely slow, but they got it checked, and found out their router had been broken for some time. They bought a new one, and their Wifi sped up a lot.
Ex: The Wifi that I'm supposed to be using right now is supposedly 50 mb/s (AT&T suuuucks down in the florida keys), but I downloaded Razer Game Booster earlier today at 1 kb/s (It later went up to 31 kb/s, which still sucked.) I checked what the speed was in my Network and Sharing center thingy on my computer, and it said it was 39 mb/s. "Liek what the fluffffff" (Any help there? xD)

At home I have xfinity, and it's pretty good. If you check my Youtube channel, MooclanTheCow, then you'll see what I mean. That's with the 50 mb/s plan, (Or is it the 100 mb/s? o_O) which is only a little bit more than the next one down. (I dunno if I'm writing this correctly.)
