Are the minecraft servers down?

When i tried to log into MCSG it said something about java, so i logged out and tried to restart minecraft but now it wont let me log in past the launcher i was just wonderiong if this is happening to anyone else aswell?

Putting read before posting is just annoying >.< If it's a guide, it will have guide in front of it you don't need to add anything of your own.
