Excerpt From My New Book

[Cubes]

I'm writing a book in which all people's heads turn magnetic on their 21st birthday. Here's a short excerpt from it.

"Mommy, when is my head going to be a magnet?" implored the curious son at the dinner table. "It'll come soon enough," said his mother as the refrigerator dragged across the floor towards her forehead.

"Coolstorybro," said the young man as people's heads gravitated toward him.

The refrigerator slid and slowly hit his mother as the cumbersome weight shifted towards the magnetic field of his parent's temple. Her face shown a look of embarrassment and shame as she realized her mistake of buying a household object that is effected by her race's coming of age. Her son was in shock by the strange event. Before now, he had only seen small objects, like stirring spoons and paper clips being attracted to the strange phenomenon. In his daycare, he had heard stories of people moving large statues and towers with their electromagnetic brains, which is how their race entered into the new age. The literal fall of the old governments and culture led to an uprising from the magnet-brained, who eventually formed their own lives after eradicating the 'Old Ones'.

Sorry, I had to leak a little more. I am loving this book!
