As for the thread, I think that it is not degrading to fight for your rights infact you should always fight for your rights. That being said there is the section of feminists which want female supremacy which is just wrong.

actually the reason why I started these threads is because I cant have any of these intellectual conversations with my friends because all they care about is nba 2k13 and cod. IS THIS THE NEXT GENERATION?

Yes, it is degrading. What do you think the men would've said back in the Victorian era if the women did the sort of stuff they're doing now in the name of "women". They would never have given them the vote. Society seems to have turned into a pro-women place now as well. Stories about women chopping men's d**** off because he cheated are hailed as monumental women achievements, with women everyone hailing her as some sort of god. You would not see the same if the situation was reversed i'll say that much.

Society is definatly not pro women. In many countries nothing has changed and those that have women are still given hugely reduced prospects compared to thier male counterparts.
