Complete Newbie--Please Help

I installed Mine Craft for my son, joined this site and upgraded his account here to gold status. I paid for the upgrade this am but I don't think it has taken effect yet. I used his Mine Craft name to identify him and NOT his name here. Whom should I email?

Once the upgrade question is taken care of, how does he join "Hunger Game" matches?

Again, I have never played Mine Craft before so please be as specific as possible.

The donor ship will take some time to come into effect (generally 10-15 minutes), but usually will come into effect almost immediately onto his minecraft account. If the website, or even the in-game rank do not appear, or work after 24 hours, email [email protected] with your time of purchase, forum name, and in-game name.

Regarding joining the servers-- Locate the "Servers" tab found on the website (http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/link-forums/servers.38/). Launch minecraft, click "Multiplayer", then select "Add server". Input an "IP" found on the page I mentioned. To play, you'll need to join a server listed as in "Lobby". From there, it'll be a lobby, where a map will be chosen, and after two-minutes, the games will begin.

A quick tip I'd recommend to make finding "Lobby" servers easier, is downloading a preset server list with all of the servers listed. In addition, you can join the "hub" at the IP us.mcgamer.net through the way Duck described for access to all servers from the click of a sign.

You mentioned that you've installed Minecraft on his computer, but did you buy a Minecraft account? You can't play on any servers, whether these or any others in the world if you didn't buy a minecraft account (unless you used a gift code). https://minecraft.net/store

Your Donor rank can take up to 24 hours to take affect. After those 24 hours have passed and you still have not received the rank, email [email protected] with your time of purchase, forum name, and in-game name. To join a Hunger Games match you must first connect to the hub. The US hub IP is us.mcgamer.net. Now once you have logged on to the MCGamer server right click on your Clock/Watch (The yellow thingy). This reduces lag. Now to navigate to the Hunger Games lobby, right click on the compass (the gray/back thingy). Now you will see loads of signs. Look for a sign that says Restarting or Lobby and right click on it to join. Wala, you have joined a Hunger Games match. Have fun!
