Hi guys.
After an event that occurred today, I have come to the conclusion that I will take a break from playing MCSG. I have honestly been extremely addicted to it, and it's ruining my life. I definitely needed a break sometime sooner or later, so I thought this would be the right time. You may be asking "what happened that made you want to take a break?"
Well, earlier, I was playing a game on Avaricia with my friend @Virtual. Sadly, he ended up dying early on, and I was saddened;-;. Anyway, shortly after, I encounter a team of 2. As any logical person would do, I ran away. I ran down the bridge and jumped off into the water. During this time, they called me a "noob" maybe about ten times, and both were even accusing me of food hacks and regeneration hacks that made me quite angry.
This continued on until deathmatch came along, and I tried my best to kill the team, but I unfortunately died. When one of the team members ended up winning, they said one word..: "Hacker". Even the partner with his non-existent armour on that I killed earlier in deathmatch. That made me go insane. How could you even think of accusing someone of hacks just because they aren't dead yet? Just because you didn't win?
Honestly, the in-game community is rude and stupid. I said it, rude and stupid. They accuse everybody of hacking even though they aren't, name-calling people, harassing people, insulting people. It crossed the line, I couldn't handle it any more. I don't consider myself very good, but I've been called a hacker, insulted, etc. so many times.
I thought the only solution for this problem is to take a break. Hopefully, when I return, which may be in weeks, or even months, I hope that the community has matured and realized how ridiculously stupid they were in the past. Of course, there is the warm, fuzzy side of the community, but that part is slowly diminishing day by day, and I never seem to encounter many people from that warm and fuzzy side.
So yes, I am taking a break from playing MCSG. I will still be on the forums, maybe not as often (you guys are great <3) and I will still make avatars, but I will not be playing. I may play one or two games here or there to see the new chests, but other than that, I'm taking a short, or long, break. It's like killing two birds with one stone.
